The proportional movement of the door, controlled by a pantograph system, provides a design which is tough and yet smooth and easy to operate and which will tolerate the most extreme weather conditions.
The top hung, single or double units stack neatly to the side of the opening and occupy very little headroom.
A floor channel is generally required but for certain applications a secondary top track can be fitted to prevent sway and allow an uninterrupted threshold.

Our Fire Curtain is a compact fully automatic motorised roller system with a high temperature stainless steel reinforced curtain, tested up to 1000°c, concealed in a strong steel casing above the doorway or opening.

The DHF was concerned about the widespread ignorance amongst building owners and occupiers, facilities and maintenance managers about their legal obligations to keep their doors and shutters in good working order.

It is now a legal requirement in accordance with the Machinery Directive, European Standard EN12341 to 1:2003, that all power operated and automatic doors must be subject to a controlled, regular maintenance and service procedure with emphasis on the safety features such as bottom safe edges and safety beams.
When we undertake a maintenance contract, our initial task is to identify each door with a mutually agreed name and number.
We then survey each door in order to compile a data and information sheet for both your and our records.
