The Cornmeter building was the site of England's first Corn Exchange over 480 years ago.
It's had many uses since then including a brewery.
In 1960, it opened as a hardware shop and was purchased as a going concern by us in 1980.
Since that time we have gradually changed the business to make Cornmeter more DIY and Interior Design focused.
PARKING: Please note that as we have spaces for only a small number of vehices at the rear of our premises, we request our customers not to leave their vehicles parked in these spots after they have left the store.
