Draper's Organic was founded by myself in 2006, after discovering the extremely surprising fact that conventional cotton was amongst one of the most heavily sprayed crops in the world; causing harm to the environment, wildlife and to those who had the misfortune to work closely with it, in the fields.
I started by selling organic cotton baby clothes and reuseable sanitary pads and nappies.
However, on understanding the wonders of hemp, and the amazing variety of fabrics and products that can be produced from such a naturally organic, prolific and sustainable crop, we very quickly moved to producing hemp shower curtains, as an alternative to the health and environmental issues associated with plastic/pvc curtains.

The Drop shown does not include 13cm (or 6cm) length of the hemp rope rings.
Please also allow for approx 7% shrinkage in the Purely Collection, when choosing your size.
The Dyes used are low impact, fibre reactive dyes; azo and formaldehyde free and they do not contain any animal by product.

This hemp curtain has not been coloured and so is a most attractive, naturally stylish hemp colour (wheat/soft beige/latte), adding a natural warmth to your home.
It is crisp and stylish with a more "linen style" look & feel, compared to the "cotton" style of our other hemp curtains, giving you a choice to suit your own style and preference.
Please note these also make great shower curtains.
Our price includes our attractive set of hemp rope rings, which are looped together to give a double ring which is attached to each eyelet, though you can use just one of the hemp ropes to shorten the length of the curtain, should you so wish.

These great beanbag covers make an attractive, comfortable and sustainable alternative to cotton and man made covers and are available in a stylish choice of colours, matching the Purely Curtains, or our elegant Purely Natural, for those who prefer undyed.
We do not treat any of our products with chemicals so an interliner and suitable filling that complies with current Fire Safety Standards will need to be bought separately from another supplier, as we do not sell these.
Please ensure that any beanbag interliner used is totally sealed, if the beanbag is being used by a young child, as the filling could be a choking / breathing hazard.
